This past weekend, we went to Seaside, OR for a nice mini vacation. This was Rayne's first time to the coast. We left Thursday afternoon and came home Saturday evening.
We had a great time, and Rayne was - as usual - a perfect little trooper. Even when we got caught in the rain and had to run back to the hotel, she only laughed at me cussing at the wind.
We stayed at the Ebb Tide, in our usual room overlooking the beach and promenade. The weather was grey and misty Thursday and Friday, but fantastic on Saturday. We played on the beach a bit, walked around the town, and went to the arcade to escape the weather.
On Saturday, we decided to head north to Long Beach to check out the scene before heading home. Rayne played in the sand, watched dad build a sandcastle, and got some sun. It was fun, although windy and a little chilly.
